Hi, I’m Saasha. A UX Designer with over 6 years of experience in website development, content marketing, and healthcare communications. People who know me say I’m trustworthy, relatable, engaging, and disciplined. I think these are good qualities for a UX designer, because they help me to effectively educate stakeholders on the value of design and translate visions and ideas into products. My work on the client side has made me a good intermediary between back-end developers and creative partners. Knowing how to speak both languages is critical in achieving mutual goals.
How I got started in UX Design/ My Design values
Working on the client side of UX Design has allowed me to partner with designers and product managers for product redesign and refinement. I found the process of brainstorming and improving user flows fascinating, and it was even more exciting to receive positive user feedback. That's the moment I realized I wanted to be a UX designer.
I have a passion for conceptualizing and crafting digital products and helping businesses and organizations expand their capacity for impact. With a strong interest in UX writing, I strive to make messaging clearer and more effective. I like to understand issues and think holistically before providing solutions.
When I'm not designing...
I'm traveling to learn something specific: a new language, a new cuisine, aspects of a different culture, a deeper appreciation of faith or spirituality, or just to embark on an adventure. I'm a foodie at heart and always interested in trying and cooking different foods. Whether it's to another borough, city or country, traveling is literally food for thought.
